Is it odd just to me that both APS website and Eric Jackson's website have been off line for more than 24 hours now? Is it just me?

I just checked both.
The APS site does work for me, and Eric Jackson's does not.
I've seen posts on other stamp boards that Jackson's site has been down for several days.
Perhaps there's just a little glitch on your end with the APS site?

Interesting. I just tried accessing it in Edge browser instead of Chrome, and got the same (failed) result. I get this message:
American Philatelic Society Code: LNA
Sorry for the inconvenience, but we’re performing some maintenance at this time. We’ll be back as soon as possible.
Have been getting that for more than 24 hours. Let's see if my phone can reach it...
And, nope. Doesn't work there either. Are you sure your browser isn't cached?

APS website is working fine for me. I forced the browser to reload the homepage -- same result.
Eric Jackson website is still down for everyone -- server not responding.

I just checked now, and Eric Jackson is back up. That was quite an outage they had.

Stamps.org pops right up for me on phone and laptop, safari and edge and edge. But, in what may be the strangest coincidence of all, I am not able to access it on my 1960 RCA Victor radio/phonograph. 🥴

Really weird. I've tried on 3 devices and in 2 different locations (physically) and all give me the same result still:
American Philatelic Society Code: LNA
Sorry for the inconvenience, but we’re performing some maintenance at this time. We’ll be back as soon as possible.

Not the issue. As I mentioned, I've used 3 different computers in now 3 different locations, including a friends PC at another house, and always with the same result. has nothing to do with DNS.

That is indeed puzzling! Are the 3 different locations using the same internet provider? Basically I'm wondering if this is an IP issue -- I've known people to encounter (very rarely) this problem where their IP, for some unknown reason, started blocking/misrouting certain websites temporarily. The problem went away by itself after after a few days to even 1-3 weeks -- but it seemed to be a problem with a specific IP in a limited region (not nation-wide).
Also, have you tried accessing those websites using your cellphone in data mode (not wifi mode)? I'm assuming, of course, that your IP and cellphone providers are not the same.

Nope. I've even tried it using a mobile network connection only (i.e. on my phone) and get the same result. I'm beginning to wonder if it's something (likely unintentional) in the APS website for international connections. But nowhere in Japan am I able to connect to their site. That same message always appears. I've reported it to APS as well, but no response.

It would seem odd for APS to impose geolocation blocking. Since you can access TTS, that would suggest it is either an IP problem or APS problem. Some entry has been corrupted. For IP's, I've noticed that these problems "self-correct" when they do their regular updates/cleaning. APS, on the other hand, probably doesn't realize, so it was good of you to inform them.

Agree. But it's still not working from here. Have asked a couple of other people in Japan to try it as well, and we all get the same response.

On the other hand Eric Jackson's site was back in just a few hours. Don't think I ever updated on that issue.

From the US, I tried connecting to stamps.org via a Japan server over VPN and got the same Code: LNA
For what it's worth, I can't connect to this message board over VPN either.
