Like a lot of people I use Steiner Pages to mount my stamps in. Sometimes I'll do a little editing of the pages (I actually do have permission from Bill Steiner to do this) and offer them as downloads on a website I have. Got a couple of questions about the pictures of stamps. I know many collectors do like me and create personal pages. To those collectors that do so, do you include pictures of the stamps? Right now I don't. How do you get those images? Where do you download them from? Or, do you just scan it yourself?
And what are the copyright implications of these images of the stamps? Sure the image is on the site, but I don't think the site's owner owns the rights to image of the stamp.
Anyway, if you create your own album pages with pictures of the stamp ...... how do you do it?

I don't print images on my custom pages for a couple reasons. One, it uses too much ink for no real benefit. Two, I prefer to have a blank box where a stamp is missing. When flipping through an album with images, it is too easy to overlook a missing stamp. When I need images for stamps I do not possess, I freely partake of the offerings on the web. You are correct, nobody (other than the respective governments) can claim copyright of the images.
