I enjoy seeking out affordable error stamps -- under $20. In this thread I will share some of my pickups, starting with this pair of airmail stamps from Honduras. These are Scott Nrs C118a and C119a overprinted "Correo Aéreo," only, on the bottom stamp of each, it was misspelled "Cerreo."

Well, I posted to the wrong thread, sorry! I had fun with this stamp until I realized it was a color omission error.

This one is a little tough to see. The bars blanking out the old denomination are supposed to be horizontal. On the top right stamp, the right-side denomination has vertical bars. Haiti, Scott Nr C24-24a (1944)

(I’ve been informed that this is, in fact, not an error, but a deliberate change made by Sweden Post during the production run. I’m leaving it up, though, in case anyone else does not have the straight story.) Sweden, Scott Nr 2581A (2008) Perforated horizontally instead of vertically. (correct) (also correct) Or, for those who like to collect your coils in pairs:

Poland, Scott Nr 556a (1952) City name spelled with G instead of C. Though, to me, it looks like there was a small pit in the plate where excess ink was printed at the tip of the C, which would make this a variety, not an error. But, I don't know what the "official" ruling on this one is. (correct) (error)

NZ 1946 3d Peace with completed rudder variety (SG671a) That’s funny. A complete rudder is an “error.”

I think this one comes under the "freak" category. Came in a lot years ago and I did not catch it. Years later I saw it mentioned in Linn's under a column "EFOs" I cut that info out but it has gone by the wayside since then. This is US Scott #776 - 1936 Texas Centennial issue. Flaw is top of 3 connected to border. (right side of 3) stamp 4 in block.
Does anyone have any more info on this or is it just another print flaw caused by dirt on printing plate.
