[this post has been edited to reflect the tweaks I made to the image size setting] I love to see large images of stamps, in order to examine all the details. Accordingly, I have the board set to display images 920 pixels wide without reducing them. This will also allow for fitting long strips of stamps into a post without shrinking the height too much. The maximum height of an image is set to 700 pixels, so complete stamp images can be seen without scrolling (for those of us who like to see the board on desktops). Example 1: Original image is 1200 pixels wide. Example 2: Original is 842 pixels wide by 1000 high. Image is reduced to 700 pixels high, and full stamp image can be viewed within the post, on a 1600x900 monitor.

You may not be aware of this since you have your monitor set at high resolution, and this is not a complaint, but... The above cropped screenshot has been reduced by 25% to fit on my forum posting screen. The original was at 10% magnification setting I use for TTS Forum. Unfortunately, if you don't have a 1600x900 monitor or have the forum set at magnification to increase the text size, the pics get chopped off at right unless you scroll the entire post horizontally. The scroll bar does not appear at the bottom of each pic, but at the bottom of the post. Which means I have to scroll down to the bottom of the post, then "guess" how much I need to scroll to the right, and then scroll back up to the pic. More finger exercise is good, I guess, unless they call it carpal tunnel. Also, any smaller size pic will be centered based on the largest pic (instead of being separately left justified). So you can see, the 2nd pic is also cut off, even though it could normally be fully seen had it been fully left justified. Just to let you know what others with smaller monitors/resolutions are seeing. You know what they say -- the world looks different to us short people, as our sight diameter tends to be smaller. k

khj, I was afraid of unintended consequences. What do you suggest as an optimum setting, so if I have complaints in the future, I can blame you? Do I need to set the text size larger?

Was checking ProBoards Support, seems editing the CSS file will change the size for desktops, but mobile devices won't be affected. Also, even on desktops, the font size would be changed in the preview box only, not the actual post.

I've set the default text size to Large. Is this any better?

Text size is problem with my eyesight. Probably doesn't affect most others.
Pic width is the problem. For "normal" person at typical default browser settings with monitor at 1366px width, that will allow 1000px wide pic in the post.
For abnormal people like me who put the taskbar at the right instead of the bottom, the width shrinks to almost 950px. At 10% magnification, the width goes down to a tad under 925px.
That's just for your reference. It's really not that big deal to me -- I just wanted to let you be aware of it of scroll bar positioning and multiple-pic centering artifact.

Dark secret, many plug-ins don't work on mobile devices. Also, the bootstrap overrides some of the code. Also, even on desktops, the font size would be changed in the preview box only, not the actual post. That is not correct, if you change the font size in BBCode. For example: Largest FontSmallest Font

I've set the default text size to Large. Is this any better? Oh, yes, thank you! But you don't have to do that on my account. Many people are fine with the default font size. Also, I believe the global font size change doesn't affect the signatures.

It looks perfect on my screen. Your first pic barely fits in without scrollbars -- so, perfect!
But of course, that means smaller picture for you. I'm fine either way, but certainly appreciate you taking the effort to tweak the settings!

Great. I’m used to having only 800 pixels maximum width, so 920, which is what it is set at now is still plenty big. And I need the larger text suze also.
