Not being one to turn away deserving orphans and strays, I have recently found myself with a small collection of Norway. During the 1920s and 30s, Norway released a number of sets of color-coded tiny commemoratives for notable Norwegians. Thus: Norway sc 145-48, Niels Abel, mathematician, 1929. Norway sc 150-53, St. Olaf, 1930. Norway sc 154-57, Bjornstjerne Bjornson (!), novelist, 1932. Norway sc 158-61, Ludwig Holberg, author, 1934.

I recently started collecting Norway, in a somewhat 'unique' way. They have really nice stamps and didn't issue too many. I have to say that the posthorn series is going to be a challenging subject. I believe it is the longest running definitives series in the world, if I am not mistaken.
