This is a nice one Stu. I have many friends in Adelaide. A bit of trivia, this is cool in 1954 Australia was still on the pound. (That nonsense of 12 pennies in a shilling and 20 shillings in a pound.... WHAT?!) In 1966 they switched to decimal currency, and the AUD was born.

This is a nice one Stu. (That nonsense of 12 pennies in a shilling and 20 shillings in a pound.... WHAT?!) Almost as bad as 12 inches in a foot, 3 feet in a yard, 1,760 yards in a mile, and 92.96 million miles in an Astronomical Unit

Ted, OH man, you are preaching to the choir there. I am a 100% convert to metric. Take up wood working... see how long it is before 3 37/127" on a tape measure, versus 83.6mm drives you insane and cross-eyed. Sure, the .6 is fine fine fine detail even at mm, but it's easier to see 83.5mm than figure out where the #%)(*#% 37/127th's falls on it!
I'm the guy who is always... which is bigger 7/8th or 9/16th... BUG EYED. Where as 22mm vs 14mm is DEAD obvious.
(Note, I'm really bad with math in my head).
