Decades ago (during one of my philately "off" periods), I was an avid aquarist. I kept a 55 gallon freshwater tank, with plans to start a marine aquarium. I devoured every magazine and book on the subject -- Dr Axelrod's Atlas, Tropical Fish Hobbyist, FAMA (Freshwater And Marine Aquariums), and any number of books on discus, cichlids, etc. A coworker (who was equally as avid) and I even discussed going into business together, installing and maintaining aquariums in doctors' and dentists' offices, and other commercial establishments. This is all to say that, if I were to start yet another topical collection, it would be to create virtual philatelic aquariums, collecting fish on stamps, but only my favorite species with which I would populate my "aquariums." And, of course, I would not comingle stamps on one page of species which could not cohabitate in an aquarium. I might, yet, since that does not entail simply blindly buying any stamps picturing fish. It would be very selective. Okay, you talked me into it; I'm going to do it.
