Let this just be a mish-mash of things Italian. I have a small collection of Italy from 1900 yo 1960, more or less, and I am just starting on Italian Colonials. Here's a neat item I got in yesterday. Italy C2 from 1917. This is a surcharge on a special delivery design and, like many Italian stamps before WW2, it is valued more used than mint.

Italy sc C89-94, Summer Exhibition for Child Welfare, 1937, unused hinged. Please note the child on the smaller stamps is holding a rifle. I.....I...I am just going to leave it at that.

50th anniversary of the death of poet/novelist Allesandro Manzoni Italy, Scott Nr 165-169, but not 170 because it has a cv of $725 (1923) The 1st four depict scenes from his literary masterpiece I Promessi Sposi (The Betrothed)
