Things have been pretty hectic lately. Talked to realtor about selling home. Listing things for sale on FB Marketplace and OfferUp, holding garage sale (everything must go), annual health screening, cataract surgery next week and again 2 weeks after that. Snuck the laptop out to the garage to work on stamp listings for my HipStamp store.
Way behind on my Mitch Hedberg and music quotes.
Other than that, nothing much is going on. How’s everyone else foing?

Ted, where are you moving to? And didn't you just move? Cataract surgery, I'll face that in about 5 years. Plus your interview with Hipstamp! You are a very busy man.
Hope all works out well.
I'm ID'ing stamps to start listing. Going to the Craft Show tomorrow. Should be fun.
Take care

We’ve been planning to move to Europe for over a year now. At first we wanted to move to the island of Madeira, but we had the <irony>good fortune<\irony> of arriving soon after real estate spiked over 60% in April of last year. Major bummer. We visited Germany on that same trip (I have family there) and then this past March we went back to Germany (mama’s birthday present from daughter) where, among other places, we visited Hamburg and decided, yeah, this is where we want to be. We’ve started selling off household furnishings, and after my eye surgery, will work on selling the house. I’ll be taking nothing but the clothes on my back and my stamps. You know what’s really cool about Hamburg? They have a public philatelic library. We only spent parts of 2 days in Hamburg so I didn’t get to visit: it was closed on day 1, and on day 2 it did not open until 2pm and we had a train to catch. You all are invited to the housewarming when we get settled in.

That sounds awesome! I'm sure the next few months will just drag by but fly at the same time.

Wow, Ted -- Wow! I'm so pleased for you both! And I've gotta say, I think we're roughly the same age.(?) I do not think I'd have it in me to make such a big move, so I admire you for going for it! Congratulations! (And to think, I knew you when!)

all the best to you Ted for that move.... sounds so exciting. Yes I am back. too busy doing whatever so not posted since we went to the UK. But saw this thread and while not a German stamp I wanted to show this as it is really a beautiful stamp and you will be near France so should be able to pick up some brilliant stamps me thinks. rather impressive stamp design for a stunning and very impressive woman. if you do not know of her I recommend reading some history Isn't this what brings life to stamps and stamps to life
