There are many Al Gores.. The Gores in the south seemed to have started in Virginia but no proven connection.
My clan went from Virginia to SC to Alabama to Mississippi
The VP family: Sr (his father(, Jr (the VP), 3rd Albert A Gore
Our family (from Mississippi) Sr. Jr, 3rd (me), Albert N. Gore
I had a relative in Jackson that was a doctor named Albert Gore.
