I am Mike Pascoe, PhD and I represent my philatelic interests through the persona "Dissecting Philately". This persona is a combination of my hobby interests (philately, duh) and professional identity as an Associate Professor of human anatomy. I was born in Denver, CO and currently reside in Lafayette, CO. I have never lived outside of Colorado. I am proud of my state for the most part (legal weed has not been good) and am happy to share my birthday with the date CO joined the Union (Aug 1). I'm proud of my APS Stamp Chat, which won best talk in the Stamps Teach category (2020). I have a podcast that details my academic and philatelic pursuits. I have lots of other accounts on various websites, please check them out here. I also sell stamps on eBay. I am the Social Media Manager for the Rocky Mountain Stamp Show. My collecting interests are varied and one day I sat down and compiled them into a Curriculum Vitae: United States General & Airmail Postage, 1847-1940 Revenues Precancels Plate Blocks Plate # Singles Coil Pairs Christmas Seals Cut Squares Computer Vended Postage Great Britain and British Commonwealth, 1840-1940 Custodian of US Postal History of Lafayette, CO, Boulder, CO, Leadville, CO, Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, Aurora, CO Tombstone, AZ Prescott, AZ Commemorative Cover Creation, 2017-present Anniversaries of notable people and events Philatelic Genealogy Tombstone Postmaster, Edith Macia, 1928-1936 Anatophilately Important achievements in anatomy told through postal material Youth Stamp Collecting & Engagement

Hi, Mike. Great to see you here. Listen, while I’ve got you here, I’ve got this pain in my lower back . . .
