Hello, a Brit here hoping to join in. My name is Martyn Bonner and I have collected stamps since I was 8 years old (64 now). I have always liked the Caribbean British Commonwealth stamps. These days My collection consists of lots (and I do mean lots) of British Guiana/Guyana stamps, including revenues and just about anything that has the name Guyana on it.
I collect revenues, cinderellas as well as regular stamps.
Other countries I still collect include; Surinam, French Guiana, Netherlands Antilles, most British/ex-British Caribbean, USA, Canada, Australia, Scandinavian countries, Malawi, Zambia, Israel, Czarist Russia, Greece (to 1973), Japan, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, UK and Netherlands Scout Posts, UK locals plus anything that grabs my attention.

As for the newspapers and other media, I gave up years ago listening to their constant lies, there is plenty of food in the supermarkets there is only a shortage when those idiots say something and the sheep panic buy. Snow? I live in Southampton (Bournemouth before) so all I can say to that is "What is snow?"

Martyn, just reading the news.. you tempted fate .. Southampton woke up to a white blanket of snow as a cold snap swept across the UK. Temperatures dropped to between 0C-1C on Wednesday as a flurry of snow landed in the city. Many people discovered a light dusting of snow outside their homes following the coldest night of the year, according to the Met Office... I will be down in Weymouth for a while before staying near Plymouth. should be warmer by next month
