Ted ----- Thanks for showing all of these!! The artistry is amazing! I had never heard of DISCWORLD before this! (and when I saw the title of your first post, I thought it was going to be about a Record Magazine!)

(and when I saw the title of your first post, I thought it was going to be about a Record Magazine!) Discworld is a fantastic series created by Terry Pratchett, a genius with words, though not everyone likes the humour in it. I haven't read all the books in the series but have read what I've read in sequence, although they can be standalone, there are character arcs. One in the series is called, Going Postal, and should appeal to some philatelists!

(and when I saw the title of your first post, I thought it was going to be about a Record Magazine!) Nah, those would be the Goldmine stamps.

For those of you who are not aware, the Discworld stamps are issued by the "Discworld Emporium" - a shop based in the UK - with full support from the Pratchett family. There is also a great website that has a full catalogue of all issues here: www.discworldstampcatalogue.co.uk/

discworld is too funny. I wasn't aware of it till I joined this board . Lucky you. You have 41 books to catch up on, including every philatelist’s favorite, #33 Going Postal.

I spent a fair bit of money today... not saying how much or how many of the stamps...
Although they can be read as standalone novels, there are sequences for character arcs (the city watch/law, the wizards, the witches...). The Colour of Magic is the first in the series.
The books are full of humour, chance, luck...
