I need to figure it out too.
Thanks for all the kind words here!
OK . . . much too small! That was just a 'click and drag' attempt -- I'll need to take Ted's advice and store the images on a website before uploading them here!

If any of you are thinking about sending a message to another HS member to let them know about this wonderful site, don't do it! I had a message blocked and I think my paws slapped! Not to worry, I'll be sending emails instead! Did you get a notification of your message being blocked? I’m wondering because I’ve notified a couple guys that way, but never even got an acknowledgment if my message from either of them.

I need to figure it out too. Thanks for all the kind words here! If you use a site such as seemystamps, lensdump, or imgbb (they are all the same system), when you upload your image, copy the link for “Bbcode full” or “Bbcode full linked” (if you want to allow people to see other images in your folder, when they click on the image in the post). You don’t have to worry about it being too large; the forum software will limit the displayed size to the width of the forum or to 700 pxl high, so the image does not require scrolling.

Yes, I got an email from HS saying my message could not be delivered and listed a bunch of things that were all wrong. Of which I didn't violate. However, I did include the site address here. Mybe that's why they got all upset.

Most online sales sites are pretty aggressive about posting of external links.
eBay won't even let me message my phone number to a seller to arrange a time to exam and pick up the merchandise (seller won't ship due to weight and I was on a long-distance road trip that just happened to be in same town as seller!).
Funny thing is, I was planning on still using eBay to finish the transaction to honor the listing. But eBay made it impossible for me to contact the seller directly by phone to complete the site visit and purchase. So I ended up paying the seller directly. In an effort to prevent side deals, eBay lost their sales commission on this one because they made it impossible for me to complete the deal through eBay. Go figure!

Kim, one trick to use, is make a graphic out of your email/phone number save that as a file. Then contact the person, and attach the image file (they allow attachments), and their systems can't "scan it". Then the person sees the image and they have the info. I have been using this trick for YEARS to get around their draconian practices, and never once was it 'noticed'.

They ended up copying the listing on a well-known free online marketplace. He didn't have to give me the website.
